The inauguration of the Governing Council of the College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Obubra, Cross River State inauguration of the Governing Council of the College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Obubra, Cross River State, was held on 30th October, 2025 at the State Executive Council Chambers, by His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State.
During the ceremony, the Governor charged the newly inaugurated Governing Council and Management to prioritize academic research in relevant fields, particularly those that will enhance crop yields and drive the agricultural revolution of the State. He further urged the Management to develop short- and long-term infrastructural development plans for the College and present them for government approval. Emphasizing strategic policy formulation, academic excellence, and institutional growth, the Governor also stressed the importance of harmony and collaboration among all cadres of staff to ensure the effective realization of the College’s mandate
